The Water Cycle
It begins with the sun. When the sun’s heat increases, the water of seas and oceans start to evaporate. Now, when the steam has gone a bit too high, because of the cooling temperature, it condenses on the surface of the sky and form a cloud. At this time, when too much water fills in the clouds so they burst out, as the form of RAIN. Now, again the water will fall in the oceans and seas, to again be evaporated and condensed!
Evaporate means that, the salt particles are left down and only the water particles turn into steam (because of the heat) and rise up.
Condenses means that, hot steam forms as water droplets on any cold surface above/ below it.
Water cycle at home
You will need:
A vessel
Water 250g
Cling film
Ice cubes 2-4
Method:
Take a vessel. Pour some water in it. Now, place it on the gas and cover it with cling film and place ice cubes on top of it.
You will see that the evaporated steam from the boiling water condenses on cold surface of the cling film as the fall of droplets. Now again they will fall down to be evaporated again.
Caution: Take an adult’s help while using fire and hot things.
