Rain's Story
Invisible, colourless, gentle and shy
Light sprinkling rain-drops walk by
Slowly, silently the drops sneak
So light, that they never leave a leak
Drizzling drops are like birds, they fly free
They laugh and smile, how beautiful can they be
In the garden I am standing still, watching the sun sleep
In my ear the rain whispers, I can hear its tweets
Rude and unpeaceful rain rushes towards the ground
Puddles and splashes, makes a lot of sound
It gets heavy and unhappily shrieks in my ear
I get so angry that I say “I’m getting out of here”
Loud, lonely, useless shower screams in anger
It wants to be treated nicely, shouting on children to play
On the roof I hear the drops knock and try
If I don’t play with it soon, it seems it will start to cry
Horrid, scary darkness has arrived
Flooding and drowning many lives
It will punish, suffocate, torture and bite
When it stops raining, it will steal all the light!
